  • The entire mixture is transferred to earthen or wooden containers, filling only two-thirds of the space. The containers are sealed and kept undisturbed in a warm, dark environment for 2 to 8 weeks, allowing natural fermentation.
  • During this period, the sugar content breaks down to form natural alcohol. This alcohol enhances the extraction of medicinal compounds and also acts as a preservative.
  • The lid is removed after a specified period, and the contents are examined to ensure completion of fermentation. 
  • After two to three days, once the fine suspended particles have settled, the liquid is carefully decanted and strained. A final filtration is then performed to ensure clarity and prevent any sediment from forming in the bottles after storage.
